The special event, organised by the Armed Forces, took place at the parade ground adjacent to the old Tejgaon Airport in the capital.
A total of 54 paratroopers from ‘Team Bangladesh’ took part in the parachuting demonstration, creating a world record for the maximum number of paratroopers descending simultaneously with flags in hand.
