Abdulla Ali Al Humoodi, the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Bangladesh, today (Monday) met Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.
The meeting took place at the Prime Minister's Office in the Bangladesh Secretariat.
During the meeting, discussions were held on expanding trade and investment in Bangladesh, increasing employment for skilled Bangladeshi manpower, and strengthening bilateral cooperation in various sectors including energy, infrastructure, aviation, information technology, railways and logistics.
Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs-1 Humayun Kabir and Ashik Chowdhury, Chairman of the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority, were present at the meeting. Senior officials of the Embassy were also present alongside the Ambassador.
