Bangladesh men's hockey team secured their second victory in the Asian Games hockey competition beating Indonesia by 3-1 goals in their Pool A match today (Saturday).
Bangladesh took an early lead through Amirul in the sixth minute of the first quarter and he doubled the lead scoring his second goal 17th minute of the match.
Russell Mahmud Jimmy further widened the margin scoring the third goal for Bangladesh in the 37th minute of the third quarter while captain Aulia Alardh pulled one back for Indonesia scoring a lone goal in the 48th minute of the match.
Bangladesh had earlier thrashed Sri Lanka 5-1 in their previous match after suffering defeats to South Korea (5-0) and hosts Japan (6-1) in their opening two matches.
Bangladesh will face India in their final Pool A match on September 28.
