The signing of the July Charter has been described as a memorable day in the nation’s history by BNP Standing Committee member Salahuddin Ahmed.

Speaking immediately after the signing on Friday, Salahuddin said, “Today marks only the beginning of fulfilling the sacrifices of martyrs, the aspirations of the nation, and the expectations of the people. Through this, we can establish a democratic government and achieve a state framework through democratic reforms.”

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir also commented that the signing of the July Charter heralds a new chapter in the country’s political history.

Meanwhile, Abdullah Mohammad Taher, Deputy Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami, expressed concern that any delay in implementing the July Charter could create a political crisis in the country.
