Ten journalists were injured in a terrorist attack in front of Dream Holiday Park in Narsingdi, six of them seriously. 

The police have arrested two individuals in connection with the incident.

The attack took place on Monday evening as journalists were returning to Dhaka by bus after attending the Family Day event organized by the Bangladesh Crime Reporters Association (CRAB). 

According to sources, a group of local criminals demanded money after the bus was parked by the roadside near Dream Holiday Park. 

When the journalists protested, an altercation ensued, and the attackers assaulted them with sticks and other weapons.

The injured include journalists Shahed, Mohsin, Sakhawat Kawsar, and CRAB staff member Lal, among others. Six of the injured were given initial treatment at Narsingdi Sadar Hospital before being taken to Dhaka for further care.

Police from Madhabdi Thana arrived at the scene and arrested two of the assailants. 

Officer-in-charge of Madhabdi Thana, Md. Kamal Hossain, confirmed that an investigation is underway.
