The condition of Sharif Osman Hadi, spokesperson of Inqilab Mancha and a prospective candidate for the Dhaka-8 constituency, remains extremely critical, the Chief Adviser’s Press Wing said on Wednesday night.

In a statement, the press wing said Singapore’s Foreign Minister Dr Vivian Balakrishnan visited Osman Hadi, who is undergoing treatment in Singapore, describing him as a fearless frontline fighter of the July mass uprising and spokesperson of Inqilab Mancha.

At around 9:40pm, Dr Balakrishnan called Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus and briefed him on Hadi’s ongoing medical treatment.

He informed the Chief Adviser that Hadi’s condition is extremely critical, the statement added.

The Chief Adviser urged the country’s people to remain calm and requested them to pray for Osman Hadi’s recovery.
