A sense of history filled the South Plaza of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban on Friday afternoon as the much-awaited July Charter was officially signed.

Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus and Vice President of the National Consensus Commission Professor Ali Riaz led the signing, flanked by prominent political figures. Among the attendees were BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Standing Committee Member Salahuddin Ahmed, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General and former MP Mia Golam Parwar, and Zonayed Saki, Chief Coordinator of Ganosamhati Andolon.

The ceremony opened with the singing of the national anthem, setting a formal yet hopeful tone. Chief Adviser’s Special Assistant Monir Haider oversaw the proceedings, ensuring the event ran smoothly.
