BNP has formed a 12-member monitoring committee to oversee arrangements for the upcoming Durga puja.

According to a press release issued today, BNP National Executive Committee Joint Secretary General Khairul Kabir Khokon has been named convener, while Joint Secretary General Syed Emran Saleh Prince will serve as member secretary.

The other committee members are BNP National Executive Committee Assistant Organizing Secretary Jayanta Kumar Kundu, Assistant Secretary Aparna Ray Das, Assistant Religious Affairs Secretaries Amalendu Das Apu and John Gomez, Executive Committee members Advocate Nipun Roy Chowdhury and Ramesh Dutta, Jubo Dal Central Committee Labour Affairs Secretary Partha Dey Mandal, former Chhatra Dal Central Vice-President Jaydeb Roy, former student leader Milton Baidya and Dhaka University Chhatra Dal President Ganesh Chandra Ray Sahas.
