The Election Commission (EC) has released the final voter list ahead of the upcoming 13th National Parliamentary Election, putting the total number of eligible voters at 12,76,95,183.
According to the updated roll, Bangladesh now has 6,48,14,907 male voters, 6,28,79,042 female voters, and 1,234 voters from the third gender.
The information was disclosed on Tuesday (18 November) by EC Secretary Akhtar Ahmed while briefing journalists in front of his office at the Election Commission headquarters in Agargaon.
He said those who turned 18 by 31 October 2025 have been included in the final roll.
A review of the voter list shows that the growth rate for male voters stands at 2.29 per cent, while female voters have increased by 4.16 per cent. The Secretary noted that female voter registration has risen noticeably this year, addressing the long-standing gap caused by lower registration rates among women in previous years.
Earlier, on 3 November, the EC had published the draft updated voter list, which recorded 6,47,60,382 male voters, 6,28,50,772 female voters, and 1,230 third-gender voters.
The final list will now guide preparations for the forthcoming national election.
