The Milestone School and College plane crash occurred due to pilot error during take-off, according to the official investigation report submitted on Wednesday.
Quoting the report, Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam said the accident resulted from a flight error made by the pilot.
The investigation report on the July 21 crash was formally submitted to the Chief Adviser earlier in the day.
The press secretary said the probe committee has recommended that Bangladesh Air Force conduct its training flights outside Dhaka. The report also found that the school building did not comply with Rajuk’s building code.
On July 21 this year, a Bangladesh Air Force training aircraft (Fighter F-7) crashed into the Milestone College campus in Uttara’s Diabari area, killing 33 people, including 27 students and two teachers.
