UUS President Donald Trump has said he expects to quickly “settle or win” the conflicts involving Iran and Ukraine, as tensions in the Middle East continue to escalate.
Speaking at a campaign rally, Trump expressed confidence that the conflicts could be resolved or won in the near future, without providing further details of his plans.
Meanwhile, Yemen’s internationally recognised government said its forces had carried out more than 2,750 strikes and “neutralised” over 1,400 Houthi fighters in the past 24 hours. The claims could not be independently verified.
The Kremlin said Trump welcomed Russia’s involvement in efforts to reach a settlement in Iran, indicating Moscow’s potential role in diplomatic efforts to resolve the conflict.
Trump also expressed dissatisfaction over a Houthi attack on a Saudi Arabian airport that killed three Saudi nationals, including a pilot.
“I’m not happy” about the attack, Trump said, amid heightened regional tensions and growing concerns over the wider implications of the conflict.
The developments come as diplomatic efforts and military operations continue to shape the conflicts involving Iran, Ukraine and Yemen, with their regional and international consequences remaining a major concern.
