Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) chairman Tarique Rahman is scheduled to participate in a total of 14 public rallies across Dhaka over two days, party sources said. He will deliver speeches at the events on Sunday and Monday (8 and 9 February).

The information was disclosed on Saturday (7 February) at a press conference in Gulshan, Dhaka, by Mahdi Amin, BNP’s election management committee spokesperson and an adviser to Tarique Rahman.

According to the party, on Sunday, Tarique Rahman will address rallies in six parliamentary constituencies under Dhaka North City Corporation. His first rally will take place at 2:00 pm at ECB Chottor in his own constituency, Dhaka-17. He will then proceed to the following venues:

Dhaka-16: Lalmati field, Pallabi Ward-2, 2:40 pm

Dhaka-15: Mirpur-10 Golchattar, adjacent to Senpara Adarsha Govt. High School, 3:30 pm

Dhaka-14: Gate of National Bangla High School, 4:20 pm

Dhaka-13: Shyamoli Club field, west of Shyamoli Cinema Hall, 5:10 pm

Dhaka-11: Sanvalley field, Badda Satarakul, 6:00 pm

On Monday, he will address eight rallies in his own constituency and seven constituencies under Dhaka South City Corporation. The schedule is as follows:

Dhaka-17: Bonani Kamal Ataturk Avenue playground, 11:00 am

Dhaka-10: Kalabagan Krira Chakra field, 12:00 pm

Dhaka-8: Pirjangi Mazar Road, 1:00 pm

Dhaka-9: Manda Tarun Sangha field, 2:00 pm

Dhaka-5: Jatrabari Shaheed Faruk Road, 3:00 pm

Dhaka-4: Jurain-Shyamganj Road, 4:00 pm

Dhaka-6: Dhupkhola field, 5:00 pm

Dhaka-7: Lalbagh Balur field, 6:00 pm

Party sources stated that Tarique Rahman will speak on the BNP’s manifesto, the current political scenario, and his vision for the future of Bangladesh during the rallies.
