The first official visit of Afghanistan’s Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce, Ahmadullah Zahid, brought a 50-member delegation to Dhaka to explore new markets, joint ventures, and stronger commercial links.
Bangladesh pledged to supply high-quality medicines and medical products sustainably, a move welcomed by Afghanistan as a key step for its healthcare sector.
Both nations emphasised the complementary nature of their economies and agreed to deepen trade, business-to-business engagement, and official cooperation, signalling a new era of regional economic collaboration.
