BNP Chairperson Tarique Rahman, accompanied by his family members, paid a courtesy call on Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus on Thursday evening.

Tarique arrived at the state guest house Jamuna around 7:30pm along with his wife Dr Zubaida Rahman and daughter Barrister Zaima Rahman.

They spent more than an hour with Professor Yunus and his daughter Dina Yunus, during which members of the two families exchanged pleasantries.

Tarique Rahman left Jamuna at around 9:00pm.

This was the first courtesy meeting between the Chief Adviser and Tarique Rahman since the BNP leader returned to Bangladesh on December 25.
