BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has expressed his gratitude to Chief Adviser of the interim government Prof Dr Muhammad Yunus after setting foot on Bangladeshi soil following a long absence.

In a video message shared on his verified Facebook page on Thursday (December 25), Tarique Rahman also inquired about the health of the Chief Adviser.

Addressing Prof Yunus, the BNP leader said, “Please keep me in your prayers. On behalf of my family, I would like to thank you. You have made various arrangements to ensure my security. I extend my heartfelt thanks to you.”

The video message was posted shortly after his arrival in the country, marking a significant moment in the country’s political landscape.
