An air ambulance carrying Inqilab Manch spokesperson Osman Hadi departed Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport for Singapore on Monday for advanced medical treatment.
The aircraft had landed in Dhaka at around 11:20am earlier in the day and left shortly after taking Hadi on board. The flight is expected to take about three and a half hours to reach Singapore.
Two specialist doctors and a nurse are accompanying Hadi on the air ambulance, while his elder brother is also travelling with him.
Meanwhile, there has been no improvement in Hadi’s health condition even after two days. He had been undergoing treatment in a critical condition at the ICU of Evercare Hospital in Dhaka.
Doctors said on Sunday that fluctuations in his blood pressure increased due to injury to the brain stem and excessive swelling of the brain. His heartbeat was also slightly higher than normal.
The medical team has yet to provide any updated information on Hadi’s physical condition. Necessary medical support is continuing to maintain the stability of his blood pressure and heart function.
Earlier on Sunday night, the Chief Adviser’s Press Wing said the interim government had decided to send Hadi to Singapore for treatment on Monday noon and that the government would bear all medical expenses.
