Government employees engaged in duties for the 13th national election and the upcoming referendum, as well as those staying outside their respective constituencies, will be able to register for postal voting through the “Postal Vote BD” app from the announcement of the election schedule until December 25, the Election Commission (EC) said on Saturday.

According to an EC press release, voters assigned to election duties, government officials outside their home constituencies, and voters in lawful custody can complete their postal vote registration via the mobile app within the stipulated period.

For further details, the EC has instructed citizens to visit the official website of the Bangladesh Election Commission.

So far, 194,417 expatriate Bangladeshis from various countries have registered to cast their votes through the “Postal Vote BD” app, with the highest number of registrations coming from Saudi Arabia.
