Chief Justice Dr Syed Refaat Ahmed has called a full court meeting involving all justices of both the Appellate and High Court Divisions of the Supreme Court.

The development was confirmed through a notification signed by Md Atikus Samad, Deputy Registrar (Administration & Justice), issued on Monday.

According to the notice, the full court meeting will take place at 3pm on 27 November in the Supreme Court’s conference room.

Supreme Court sources said the session is expected to discuss and decide on several key matters, including transfers and promotions of lower court judges, among other administrative issues.

A full court meeting serves as an internal platform for justices to deliberate and take policy decisions on judicial and administrative affairs.
