The interim government is set to hold its first large-scale press conference on Monday, 15 months after assuming office in August 2024.

The event will take place at 12 pm at Karobi Hall in the Chief Adviser’s Office, according to an official announcement.

Only accredited journalists with valid security passes will be allowed to attend the press conference, the Chief Adviser’s Office said in a statement.

Since the government took office, all previous media briefings from the Chief Adviser’s Press Wing have been held either at the Foreign Service Academy or at the Chief Adviser’s official residence, Jamuna.

This will be the first time a press conference is being hosted directly at the Chief Adviser’s Office — a move observers say carries special administrative significance.
