The government has kept fuel prices in the domestic market unchanged for April, despite an increase in import costs following the escalation of the US-Israel war on Iran.

According to a gazette notification issued today (March 31, 2026), diesel will be sold at Tk 100 per litre during April, while octane and petrol prices will remain at Tk 120 and Tk 116 per litre respectively.

This marks the third consecutive month that the authorities have maintained fuel prices at the same level.
