The family of National Citizen Party (NCP) activist Md Wasim Ahmed Muksan on Tuesday demanded his immediate whereabouts, alleging that he has been missing for nearly 48 hours after being taken from his residence by men identifying themselves as members of the Detective Branch (DB) of police.At a press conference held at the NCP’s temporary office in Banglamotor, party leaders and family members said Wasim, an active NCP organiser under city's Kadamtali Police Station, was picked up around 4:00am on January 4.Reading out a written statement, SM Shahriar, Joint Chief Organizer of NCP, said eyewitness accounts from Wasim’s wife, Sharmin Akter Tumpa, indicate that several men forcibly entered their home without showing any identity cards.
