Netanyahu Says Phase Two of Trump’s Gaza Plan ‘Very Close’

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said he will meet US President Donald Trump later this month as efforts advance toward the second phase of Washington’s Gaza plan.Speaking at a joint press conference with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz on Sunday, Netanyahu said the upcoming meeting will focus on “opportunities for peace” and ending Hamas’s rule in the Gaza Strip.Negotiations on the next stages of Trump’s proposal to end the two-year war in Gaza have been ongoing.
